The semi circular restaurant at the Surya Samudra Beach Resort capable of accommodating 40 people is Octopus. It specializes in sea food. The best part is that the food is cooked using fresh fish from the sea and the vegetables and fruits are grown in the resort's garden. There is a granite pepper crusher specially ordered from Mahabalipuram and a bronze bell to call the waiters at each table of the restaurant.
